Admissions/Registration

It is our privilege to have you as a patient and our guest.  The staff and physicians of Halifax Regional Health System are committed to providing the best possible care to those who need and seek our services. 

Registering for a test or procedure at Halifax Regional Hospital is not difficult and can be done in three ways.  The choice is yours.  Please pick the one that suits you best.

• Register in person.
• Register online.
• Register by telephone.

If you choose not to pre-register, please report to the admissions office located in the main lobby of Halifax Regional Hospital at least 30 minutes before your appointment time. Please be sure to bring identification, insurance cards and your physician’s order. Most tests cannot be performed without the physician’s order.
