Treatment Components
The Center for Wound Care’s team of specialized physicians, nurses, and technicians, will plan a course of treatment focusing on a variety components including:
- Debridement
- Nutrition assessment and counseling
- Education and prevention
- Special needs including beds, mattresses, seat cushions
or footwear
- Wound and blood cultures or biopsies
- Antibiotic management program
- Compression therapy
