Association of Hospital Auxiliaries and Volunteers.
Mission statement of hospital auxilians
As an integral component of Halifax Regional Hospital, our
purpose is to provide an efficient and humanistic volunteer
staff, which offers an extra dimension of care and services
to patients, family and visitors, and support services for
the hospital staff.
Purpose
- To promote, within the institution and our community,
the hospital's innovative and progressive leadership in
health care.
- To advocate for patients and visitors by personalizing
their hospital experience, and easing their access to Hospital
programs and facilities.
- To assist hospital staff in best meeting the physical
and emotional needs of our patients and their families.
