Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists use a wide variety of strategies and tools to assist
people in regaining, developing, and building skills essential for independent
living and optimal health and well-being. Occupational therapists help individuals
overcome physical impairment, functional limitations, disability, and handicaps
in their daily activities such as dressing, bathing, feeding, hygiene, work,
and leisure. OT's can provide adaptive equipment to increase independence.
They can evaluate and modify your work area and make recommendations to decrease
the risk of injury.
