If you are not covered by any healthcare insurance plan and receive services from Halifax Regional Hospital, you may qualify for the hospital’s Uninsured Patient Discount Program. You must contact patient financial services in order to receive the benefit. You will be asked to sign a statement of no insurance and will receive a 32 percent discount of total charges. You or your guarantor will be responsible for paying the remaining balance in full. If you qualify for other discounts available through the Financial Assistance Program, this discount does not apply.
