Guest Relations

Halifax Regional Hospital’s guest relations coordinator is available to help patients and their families during their time with us. We want your hospital experience to be as good as possible and our guest relations coordinator is here to help make that happen. The role of the coordinator is to ensure satisfactory services, to serve as an advocate for patients to ensure their rights and interpret their responsibilities, and to serve as a complaint manager for problem resolution. The coordinator is available to help you with any number of things, including making advance directives, and can answer any number of questions or will put you in contact with the person who can.

Contact our guest relations coordinator at ext. 3318 while in the hospital. From outside the hospital, call 434.517.3318. The Guest Relations office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. In the absence of the coordinator, the house supervisor is available to help.

Satisfaction Survey

All of us at Halifax Regional Hospital value you and want you to choose us for your healthcare needs. When you are discharged from the hospital, you may be asked to participate in a telephone survey concerning your stay with us. These surveys are an important tool for us as we continue our mission to make Halifax Regional the hospital of choice.
