officials of the need for additional medical facilities in
Halifax County, until today, the regional health care provider
has been a beacon for those seeking quality medical services.
Today, with approximately 1043 full-time and part-time employees,
the organization not only provides medical services to thousands
of citizens, but also serves as an economic cornerstone for
the region.

opening of additional facilities such as MeadowView Terrace,
a long-term care facility in Mecklenburg and Seasons at The
Woodview, an Alzheimer’s special care facility in South
Boston, places Halifax Regional Health System among the many
