Pay Your Hospital Bill

Halifax Regional Hospital offers five ways to pay your bill using cash, major credit cards and checks. Post dated checks are not accepted. Returned checks will be charged a $20 administrative fee.

We offer interest free monthly payment plans unless legal action has occurred on an outstanding balance. Payment plans that extend longer than twenty-four months require completion of a financial statement and proof of income. Call (434 )517-3190 for more information.

Pay in Person
Visit the Patient Financial Services office located in Halifax Regional’s Downtown Office Complex at 504 Wilborn Avenue Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Access the parking area and entrance from Ferry Street or Noblin Avenue.)

Use the convenient drop off box
Your payment may be placed in the secure drop off box located at the entrance to the Downtown Office Complex 24 hours a day.
